Kymco the major participant of the PDV Rando
In 2012, the organizers of the Mondial of Pont de Vaux leave the meadows of the Ain. They offer both quad enthusiasts and professionals the possibility to test their machines during these 50 to 80 km treks. Thanks to these activities Philippe Larodas will make you discover the wealth of the country since he’s visited every corner of the region of Mâcon for about ten years now. Regarding logistics and management he will be helped by the team “Rando Somme” well known in France.

PDV Racing was welcome for the 12 hours of La Tuque ( Quebec)
PDV Racing, the organizer of the 12 Hours of de Pont-de-Vaux is sponsoring the event of La Tuque in Canada (created in 2001 and copy of Pont de Vaux). On May 12 and 13, a French delegation represented by Rodolphe Maingret (technical director of the Mondial), Mario Mollard, representative of the newspaper Le Progrès of Lyon and Yves Crouzet (one of the three speakers of the French Endurance) were the guests of our Canadian cousins.

A Legend team On the legendary Banshee
Both Paul Winrow and Richard Cole have won a total of 4 victories at the “12 Hours of Pont de Vaux” in 1992, 2000 and 2001 for the first one and in 1999 for the second. They often fought against each other, but in 2010 both British riders raced together in the same team at the Mondial du Quad. Richard, the team manager and Paul as one of the riders for the KTM Factory Racing played the leading roles.

The Willmann Sisters won’t take part
Unfortunately the Willmann sisters, the best girls team, 18th of the overall ranking of the Mondial of Pont de Vaux 2011, won’t be on the starting line of the 26th edition on next August. Both of them are injured. Denise has a herniated vertebral disc. Sina’s elbow, broken a few years ago, is still painfull.

You could discover one of the new things of the 26th edition of the “12 Hours of Pont de Vaux” at the “QuadExpo”. In fact it’s an extra activity of this event, directly involved in the Mondial du Quad. With the organization of these cross country atving in the region of Mâcon PDVRacing wants to reach not only amateurs or experienced riders but also the brands taking part to the QuadExpo exhibition.

Quad 18 Organisation : at the disposal for both for sport challenges and security of the sites
The Association Quad 18 Organisation, managed by the president Daniel Philippon from the SDIS 38, took part to several big sport events in 2011 like the Paris Roubaix Challenge, the Hannibal Raid, the MB race and the Forestiere. Moreover despite all these sport meetings the staff held safety post among which the morst important was the VTT Mondial at the Deux Alpes. Because of their great experience, very often these firemen are ensuring fire safety in the paddocks as for the Mondial du Quad, the PC management as well as the safety on the site. For its 4th edition it is now opening up to European riders, Mickaël “Rocket” Pichon was twice winner of the French event of the 8 H of Pont de Vaux (located at the North of Lyon far from 80km in the department of Ain). The date August 18 and 19 2010 is exactly the good one, the unique break between all the national championships, this original endurance in a closed track will take place one week before the Mondial du Quad, last year we celebrated its 25 th anniversary.
